watercolor
I busted out my paintbrushes today. I found them collecting dust in a box...so I grabbed my coffee and turned on my music and started painting. I didn't drink my coffee...I actually don't drink coffee. I can't, it makes me sick. I just brew it so my house would smell good....and to make me look cool. Every once in a while I'll take a little sip, but most of the time I just brew hot water and make hot chocolate. I started with clouds and then they turned into a storm. Not because it's a visual description of my life or anything, but because I was watching the discovery channel and an episode of deadliest catch was on earlier this morning. (& here is a little elephant, just for fun.)

Rocco through Instagram
Here is a little Instagram update of our life as of late with our lovely Rocco.
This is what we know of little Rocco so far:
She loves socks. In fact, she has her own. And she's allowed to do whatever she wants with them.
She has a habit of going in the refrigerator....
She is the sweetest cuddle buddy.
She doesn't like the leash...
She LOVES to nap.
She likes to eat paper.
She wont eat our furniture. (besides our dresser)
She is 10 weeks old today!
AND she is basically potty trained!!
She loves to jump in the showers with you. (so close the door)
She sleeps on her back.
She also sleeps on your face.
She doesn't know her name yet.
She has the hiccups ALL the time.
She loves Robbie.
She loves to eat hair.
She gives sweet kisses.
She likes squirrels.
She likes to bite my computer.
She likes to watch Greys Anatomy with me.
She has nightmares sometimes :(
But she also runs in her sleep (we think its a good dream)
&
She is a sweet blessing.

Sharing a legacy
This dress was hand made by the brides aunt. The dress was constructed out of the mothers wedding dress. Leaving aged stains, and old lace to leave character and a certain legacy. Beautiful and flawless.

A rainy afternoon
A few days ago Robbie, Rocco and I laid around with the windows open while it rained. We felt the cool breeze flow through our windows. I took my medicine and slowly the effects started to come upon me. I laid my head on Robbie's chest and fell into a deep sleep. Rocco was particularly snuggly. No toe/hair chewing today. But even if she was eating us with her razor sharp teeth, I wouldn't have cared. Because its days like today that make me want to freeze time and forever be in it. I have a lovely blessed life.
